This Privacy Policy describes how itaflavors.com (the “Site”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you visit the Site. The Site publishes recipes: it has no user accounts, no comments, no contact forms and no newsletter, so we do not ask you for your name or email address.
1. Data Controller (Titolare del Trattamento)

- VAT Number (P.IVA): IT02582710428
- Fiscal Code (C.F.): CNTLCU78L02A271K
- REA Number: PG – 362834

2. Types of Data We Collect
We do not collect personal data directly from you. Data is collected automatically by our hosting provider and, only if you agree, by the Google services described below:
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system, language, pages visited, date and time of the visit. The hosting provider processes it to deliver the Site and keep it secure.
- Analytics data (only with your consent): how you reach and use the Site (pages viewed, approximate location, device type), collected through cookies and similar technologies.
- Advertising data (only with your consent): cookie identifiers and information about your browsing used to show and measure advertising.
3. Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing
- To operate and secure the Site: to deliver pages correctly and protect the Site from abuse (Legal basis: our legitimate interest).
- Analytics: to understand how visitors use the Site and improve our recipes (Legal basis: your consent).
- Advertising: to show ads that finance the Site, including personalized ads where you allow them (Legal basis: your consent).
If you do not give consent, the Site works the same way: analytics and personalized advertising stay off.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
On your first visit a banner asks you to accept or refuse cookies for analytics and advertising, with a button for each choice. You can change your choice at any time from the privacy settings link at the bottom of every page. Your choice is saved in a technical cookie (cc_cookie) for 6 months. Technical cookies needed to display the Site and to remember your choice do not require consent.
The Site does not use cookies to remember your preferences: the “Keep the screen on” switch and the search work on your device only and send nothing to us.
5. Third-Party Services
We do not sell your personal data. We use these providers:
- Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting): delivers the Site and protects it from attacks. It processes technical data such as your IP address. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
- Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC): measures traffic, only if you consent. See how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
- Google AdSense (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC): shows advertising, only if you consent. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your previous visits. You can manage personalized ads at adssettings.google.com.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, relying on the safeguards required by the GDPR (such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses).
6. Data Retention
We keep analytics data in aggregated form for the period set in our Google Analytics account (at most 14 months). Technical data kept by the hosting provider is deleted according to its own retention rules. Advertising cookies expire according to the settings of the providers above.
7. Your GDPR Rights
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following data protection rights:
- Access: the right to request copies of your personal data.
- Rectification: the right to request that we correct any inaccurate information.
- Erasure (“Right to be forgotten”): the right to request that we delete your personal data.
- Restriction of Processing: the right to request that we restrict the processing of your data.
- Data Portability: the right to request the transfer of your data to another organization.
- Object to Processing: the right to object to our processing of your personal data.
- Withdraw Consent: the right to withdraw your consent at any time, from the privacy settings link at the bottom of every page, without affecting the processing done before.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at: itaflavors @ gmail.com
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a Data Protection Authority (in Italy: Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in order to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The date at the top shows the latest update.
